No Bake Cake?!

Question: No Bake Cake!?
Hi, my oven is broken and I need to make some cakes for an event my daughter is attending!. I could, of course, buy cakes, but it would be a lot more fun if I could still make something with my daughter!. I was wondering!.!.!.is there a recipe out there that requires no baking!.!.!.I can heat things on the stove etc!.!.!.

Recipes will be greatly appreciated - thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
do you have a microwave!? that's always an option!.
This is more of a dessert than a cake, but buy a packet of biscuits like giingernut or chocolate ripple (these are chocolate-flavoured biscuits, not choc coated), then sandwich them together with slightly sweetened whipped cream!. form a long log with the biscuits then coat them in remaining cream!. put in fridge overnight and the next day the biscuits will have a cake-like texture!. Kids have fun helping "sandwich" the bsicuits, and you can add stuff like raspberry jam or fresh berries if you like, or scatter with flaked almonds or toasted coconut!.
If you no no luck with recipes, you can always buy plain cakes but then jazz them up yourself with fresh cream and fruit, or decorate with lollies for a personal touch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a cheese cake recipe that will be fun for you and daughter to do together as it has several steps to it!.

Katie's Cheesecake

1 (3 ounce) package lemon Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup granulated sugar
5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 can Carnation milk, well chilled
Graham crackers, crushed

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water!. Cool until slightly thickened!.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice with mixer until smooth!. Add thickened Jell-O and beat well!.

In a separate bowl, beat the Carnation milk until fluffy!. Add cream cheese/Jell-O mixture and beat well with mixer!.

Line bottom of 9 x 13-pan with crushed Graham crackers!.

Spread filling over and top with more crushed Graham crackers!. ChillWww@FoodAQ@Com

hey thats a gr8 idea! u can take the usual recipe and cook in a pressure cooker without whistle!. i think u need to add a little water in cooker and place the container full of cake mix!. But I suggest you to pick sponge cakes from market and decorate with cream, choclate/strawberry sauce/cheese/fruits/choco chips/wafers or serve with custard!.
