STICKY BUNS

INGREDIENTS:

1 -1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (I used walnuts)
24 frozen dinner rolls (I used Rhodes)
1 pkg!. butterscotch pudding (I used sugar-free instant)
1 stick butter (melted)
1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
2 tbls!. cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS:

Lightly butter (wipe with paper towel) a 9" x 13"baking pan (I
used a glass Lasagna dish)
Spread nuts evenly over bottom of pan, place rolls on top!. (4
across and 6 the long ways)
Sprinkle the `dry' pudding mix over rolls & nuts!.
Combine the melted butter, brown sugar & cinnamon and drizzle
over buns!.
Place waxed paper (that has been lightly sprayed with cooking
spray & excess wiped away with paper towel) over top!. Let rise
overnight!.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until browned!.
(Second time I made these, I doubled sugar, butter, & cinnamon!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a great recipe:

1 pkg frozen rolls (20-25)
1 pkg vanilla pudding (not instant)
1 stick butter (melted)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Butter bundt pan well!. (do not use angle food pan, caramel will ooze out) place frozen rolls in bundt pan!. pour melted butter over them!. Mix vanilla pudding & brown sugar together and prinkle over buttered frozen rolls!. cover w/paper towel and let rise over night!. In the morning, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes!. Invert on plate and eat warm!. Pull them apart, the caramel will ooze all over the rolls!. They are great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The yeasty flavor is half of the appeal!. I have eaten sticky buns both ways, and much prefer a yeast roll base!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try Delia's recipes, very good!.

No yeast required!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My guess is to use a biscuit, like a scone!. Anything that is raised will require yeast (I think)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
