We will go to see fireworks with a large group of friends - we will all bring our own food and some snacks to share!. Any ideas on something different, easy to fix and pack, but not too messy to eat!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Easy Snack Wraps

INGREDIENTS
2 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1/8 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/8 head lettuce
1/8 (6 ounce) package sliced deli-style turkey
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1/3 cup minced tomato

Spread cream cheese evenly over the tortillas!. Top the cream cheese with lettuce leaves!. Arrange the turkey slices in even layers on top of the lettuce!. Sprinkle the carrots and tomato over the turkey slices!. Roll the tortillas into wraps!. Cut the wraps diagonally into bite-sized pieces!. Secure with toothpicks!.

Crispy Pretzel Bars

INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
5 cups crisp rice cereal
2 cups pretzel sticks
1 cup plain M&M's

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the sugar and corn syrup!. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved!. Stir in peanut butter until blended!. Add the cereal, pretzels and M&M's; stir until coated!. Press into a greased 15-in!. x 10-in!. x 1-in!. pan!. Cut into bars!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta Salad!.
1 lb pasta - shape of your choice
1 or 2 carrots, peeled and diced
1 small cucumber, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 red pepper, cut into dice
1 - 2 cups cut up meat, poultry, or fish (salmon has body and works well)
1 large tomato, cut up OR a cup of split cherry tomatoes
Any additional vegetables you like
1 cup frozen peas
1 envelope Good Seasons Italian dressing, mixed with vinegar and good olive oil
Grated parmesan cheese to add on top!.
Bring water to a boil and toss in the pasta to cook for the directed time!. While you're boiling the water and the pasta cut up all of your vegetables and the protein and mix the dressing!.
When the pasta is done cooking pour the frozen peas into your colander and then pour the pasta and it's water over the peas!. The boiling water will defrost them but leave the peas with body!.
Mix this in with the other vegetables and cut up protein!.
Pour the prepared dressing over this to taste, some like it wetter than others!. Add the parmesan to top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

German tomato salad:

Ingredients
4 large tomatoes (large chunks)
1/2 cup diced onion
parsley
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup milk
8-10 strips crispy bacon, crumbled
dill weed to taste

Directions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, milk, salt, pepper and a pinch of dill weed!.
Combine the sauce with the onion tomato parsley and half of the bacon!. Toss till thoroughly coated!.

How about Kabob food!? You can have precooked meats - beef, chicken, lamb, pork; lightly steamed veggies - baby carrots, broccoli, zucchini, peppers and put them on kabobs!. You can mix and match the foods types and even have some that are fruit - grapes, strawberries, pineapple and melons!. Fun, easy to eat and little clean up! pulled pork sandwiches with bbq sauce!.
ok they are messy but easy to make and very good

in a pot with a lid, add 6lbs pork shoulder cut into 2 inch cubes, add 1 can beef broth and 1 can water!. 1 large onion diced and 3 gloves garlic crushed!. salt pepper and a bay leaf
simmer on high until boiling then lower and simmer about 1 1/2 hours!. cool pork and shred it then add you fav bbq sauce and serve on rolls!.!.!.!.cole slaw tastes really good on the sandwichWww@FoodAQ@Com

Bacon & Egg Slabs!.
Line a rectangular baking dish with one sheet of pre rolled flaky pastry!.
Layer sliced bacon on the pastry, sliced onion rings and frozen peas!. (or drained canned peas)
Use a spoon to make wells and break into each an egg!. Season to taste!.
Top with another sheet of pastry and brush with a little milk!.
Bake in a 180C oven for 25-35 minutes, until pastry is golden!.
Turn out and cool!.
Cut into sections 60mm x 40mm!.
Serve hot or cold with tomato sauce!. (ketchup)Www@FoodAQ@Com
