Okay!. I don't know much about indian cooking (But I love indian Food!) I do know that citric acid is hard to come by in the US!. I f I were you I would substitute lemon juice (citric acid is the component of lemon juice that makes it sour) to taste and then cut down the water in the recipe (or add more bean flour) to compensate for the additional liquid!.

You can buy aloo bhujia online!. Just search for aloo bhujia in google!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

or maybe a little lemon or lime juice although it has citric acid it is not what is considered the ingredient citric acid that is seen on the the ingredient list on procuctsWww@FoodAQ@Com

try Ascorbic acid
Known as Flavor Fresh
Fruit Fresh has citric acid alsoWww@FoodAQ@Com

Citric acid is found in citrus fruits (that's why they taste like citrus fruits!) and 'sour' candies!. Any citrus juice would work, but I would prolly go with lemon or lime!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lemon juice or vinegar!. Tamarind is not acid enough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tamarind or vinegar will work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just put up some home grown tomatoes & it said to use 1/4 teas!. of citric acid for each pint or lemon juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
