Made homemade Limoncello...what can I use the leftover lemon peels for?!


Question: Made homemade Limoncello!.!.!.what can I use the leftover lemon peels for!?
I strained them out today and they are really sweet and tasty, not enough to eat straight though!. Is there something I could use them for, recipe wise!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

freeze them and use them for zest

Roll them in sugar, and place them on a plate, and set them on top of the frig overnight, the temp of the frig and sugar will make a kind of glazed peel, then use it in cakes, the lemon bars Christopher suggested or in a batch of rice pudding next time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chicken marinade - mix with olive oil, lemon juice crushed garlic salt and pepper then bake or grill chicken

throw it into a vodka martini or pitcher of ice tea or even just plain water - it will give it a slight lemonade tasteWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'd mince them up very finely and use them in a classic Lemon Bar recipe!.!.!.!.!.!.That would be a Lemon Blast Bar!!!
