Cooking ribs?!

Question: Cooking ribs!?
I'm cooking ribs on the grill tonight, but I'm pre-boiling them first so they're more tender!. Is there anything you'd suggest to put in the water, so they are more flavorfull!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Add chopped garlic!.
Quarter and onion and drop it in there!.

also, I'm adding beef bullion cubes!.

Salt and pepper!.

That's what I'm making also tonight!!! LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

Did you remove the thin membrane on the underside of the ribs!? That is more important to do than anything else!.

I never boil my ribs, I soak them in a brine for about 6 hours the night before!. Then I put a dry rub on them, let them sit for another 4 hours, then I bake them in an oven on 250 degrees for 3 hours if I am cooking 2 racks!. Then I toss them on a charcoal grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put a tablespoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar!. That helps tenderize them!. I make spicy ribs by adding a cajun seafood boil to the water along with fresh herbs, onions and garlic!.

Don't overboil!. Remove when meat is pulling back from the bone!. If you boil too long your rack will fall apart when you put it on the grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

OMG do not boil your ribs, that just makes them tough and rubbery!.
The best way to cook ribs is low and slow!. I rub mine with a spice rub, wrap in foil packet and cook at 300 for about 4 hours!. They fall off the bone!. You can unwrap, sauce and cook under the broiler for a few minutes to get that charred sauce look/taste without ever lighting the grill!.
Trust me, they'll be much better than boiled!.

The spice rub I use is a packet of McCormick Mesquite seasoning mixed with 1/4 cup brown sugar!. Coat both sides!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Soy Sauce
Pepper
A little bit of Lemon juiceWww@FoodAQ@Com
