Can I make white rice with Salmon?!

Question: Can I make white rice with Salmon!?
Do the two go together!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
A lot of Asian cuisines pair salmon with white rice but its a matter of preference!. Salmon and white rice tend to both be on the mushy side, which can be a texture issue for a lot of people!.

I tend to make salmon by itself by marinating overnight or for at least an hour in fresh lemon juice, salt, olive oil, and your favorite spices (cajun if you're into spicy and some fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme!. )

Broil the salmon or grill it on a sheet of foil and serve with your potatoes and veggies on the side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like the idea of rice & salmon!. You could kick the rice up - like lime-scented rice:

& serve with Salmon with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes to boost the flavors some more:

Yes, it is very doable!.!.!.I would cut the salmon into chunks, stir fry them with your favorite veggies and lay it over a bed of white rice!. However I feel that a seasoned rice or yellow rice would compliment the salmon better!. And also leave out the potatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would add the onions and peppers and maybe an egg or 2 to the rice like fried rice!. I love rice anyway you cook it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah, I would make some kind of flavored rice, like rice pilaf!. The only case where I could think of salmon going with white rice is sushi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to cook them separately, but they taste good together!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why not!? Try it!. I would use boiled potatoes!. But we mainly eat potatoes!.
