Question: Dose anyone know a extreamly grate salsa recipie!?
i dont like extreamly spicy thing i thik a miled salsa would be good for me or a salsa that is hot thx for all recipiesWww@FoodAQ@Com

2 14!.5 oz cans Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (I prefer Meijer brand), drained
1 14!.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes (I prefer Meijer), drained
1 tsp minced, fresh garlic
1/4-1/2 med onion
fresh cilantro
juice from 1 lime
salt and pepper to taste

In a blender, add about 1/2 bunch/ 1/2 cup of the cilantro (leaves only), garlic, onion and lime juice!. Pulse in blender until mixed!. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and blend!. Taste and add extra garlic, onion, cilantro, or lime as preferred!.

i like to add chipotles for some spice, but those are optional!. without them I would say this is a mild salsaWww@FoodAQ@Com

Fresh Tomato Salsa
INGREDIENTS
3 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup finely diced onion
5 serrano chiles, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons lime juice


DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, onion, chili peppers, cilantro, salt, and lime juice!. Chill for one hour in the refrigerator before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

6 pounds roma (plum) tomatoes
1/4 pound roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 red onion, chopped
1 white onion, chopped
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 pound jalapeno peppers, chopped
1/3 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

Bring a large saucepan of water to boil!. Briefly place 6 pounds tomatoes into water to loosen skins and set color!. Drain, peel and crush!.
Mix chopped tomatoes, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, cayenne pepper and cumin into the saucepan with crushed tomatoes!. Whip to desired thickness!. Bring to a boil!. Mix in red onion, white onion, yellow onion, jalapeno peppers and cilantro!. Continue boiling until vegetables are soft and mixture has reached desired consistency!. Remove from heat!. Refrigerate until serving!.

4 jalapeno chile peppers
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.
Place jalapeno chile peppers on a medium baking sheet!. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until roasted!. Remove from heat and chop off stems!.
Place jalapeno chile peppers, garlic, onion, white sugar, salt, ground cumin and diced tomatoes with green chile peppers in a blender or food processor!. Chop using the pulse setting for a few seconds!. Mix in whole peeled tomatoes!. Chop using the pulse setting to attain desired consistency!. Transfer to a medium bowl!. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving!.

This is a typical Mexican salsa I learned from my mom

2 tomatoes

dried Chile habanero( warm them in the "comal" skillet for 50 sec)

1/2 a pound of tomatillos( you can find this in any market place) heat these up as well in the comal skillet

1 peace of garlic

1/2 yellow onion

half a teaspoon of salt( your choice)

put half of water in the blender and blend all these ingredients together let them blend really good and thats it!.

GOP girl made Pico! Try a seeded jalapeno, 1/2 cup diced red onion, 1/2 cup mandarin orange, 1 Roma tomato diced!. 1/2 cup coarse chopped cilantro and the juice of 1 lemon!. (Kosher salt and minced garlic to taste) Flash chop all ingredients for 5 seconds in a processor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
