Is it possible to use honey in icecream recipes instead of sugar?!

Question: Is it possible to use honey in icecream recipes instead of sugar!?
i figure that im already using basically all liquid ingredients (exept maybe the ingredient that would make the icecream the kind it is-like strawberries for strawberry), & im aware that the icecream would taste slightly diff than its supposed to!. so would it make a big diff!. or would it work!?

its just that my dad prefers me to use honey anytime that i can substitute for the sugar!. (hes always been a huge health nut)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
absolutely, just make sure you are cooking above 650 degrees so that the honey will melt into a fine mixture!. Otherwise you may feel the ill effects of the venom of the bee's stinger!. hope this helps!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sure it's possible, the honey won't split or anything!.!. but you're right, the recipe won't taste as intended!. Usually not a big deal, honey has a nice flavour that would probably be nice with strawberry!.

Although I'm not entirely convinced that this would be significantly healthier!.!. It's still empty calories!.!. How about as a compromise you use sugar in the ice cream and go for a jog later after dessert!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Won't work don't try!.
You can as you scald your milk add in honey!.
Are you Scalding your milk!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
