5 ribs celery chopped
juice of 2 lemons
mayonaisse
coarse ground pepper

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
3 portobello mushrooms
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Clean mushrooms and remove stems, reserve for other use!. Place caps on a plate with the gills up!.
In a small bowl, combine the oil, onion, garlic and vinegar!. Pour mixture evenly over the mushroom caps and let stand for 1 hour!.
Grill over hot grill for 10 minutes!. Serve immediately!.
*can also bake in oven at 375 for same amt!. of time
Fennel Pork Chops
4 pork chops
2 tablespoons garlic salt
1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 cup white wine
DIRECTIONS
Sprinkle garlic salt on both sides of the pork chops!. The garlic salt should pretty well cover the chops!.
Pour a little olive oil or other cooking oil into a skillet!. Put the pork chops in the frying pan and place fennel seeds on top of the pork chops!. 10 to 15 fennel seeds per pork chop will probably do!. Let the underside of the pork chop brown then turn over!. Once both sides are browned flip again!.
Pour the wine into frying pan; cover and reduce heat!. Simmer for 10 minutes and flip the pork chops over!. Cover them again and let them simmer for another 10 minutes!. Make sure the wine doesn't completely evaporate or the pork chops will burn!. You may have to add a little more wine to the pan!.

Mashed potatoes!
6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3/4 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water!. Cover and bring to a boil; cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender!. Drain well!. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper; mash until light and fluffy!.

Ham and Cheese Omelet Casserole
8 eggs
1 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups diced ham
1 cup shredded American cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Beat eggs in a large bowl, making sure that they are mixed very well and have a 'frothy' top!. Add the milk, salt and pepper!. Mix well!. Stir in ham, then add cheese pieces and stir well!. Pour mixture into a well greased 4 quart casserole dish and bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until top is lightly browned!.

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps
6 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
12 slices bacon
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat!.
Spread cream cheese to fill jalapeno halves!. Wrap with bacon!. Secure with a toothpick!.
Place on the grill, and cook until bacon is crispy!.

8 crimini mushrooms
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon chopped onion
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet!. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown!. Drain, dice and set aside!.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.
Remove mushroom stems!. Set aside caps!. Chop the stems!.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter!. Slowly cook and stir the chopped stems and onion until the onion is soft!. Remove from heat!.
In a medium bowl, stir together the mushroom stem mixture, bacon and 1/2 cup Cheddar!. Mix well and scoop the mixture into the mushroom caps!.
Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted!.
Remove the mushrooms from the oven, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese!.

Here's one of my favorite easy, breezy comfort foods:
Bone-in pork chops (4-6)
2 boxes Kraft Mac and Cheese
1 yellow onion
1 3oz package cream cheese
1 T yellow mustard
Make mac and cheese according to package directions adding cream cheese and mustard!. Place in baking dish!. Season chops with salt and pepper and brown in non-stick skillet or in hot olive oil!. Remove and drain!. Slice onion into thin rings and saute in same pan!. Cook until translucent and limp!. Place chops on top of mac and cheese and top each one with a portion of onions!. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
