Where can i buy jars for pickling vegetables? I want to pickle my own peppers.?!


Question: Where can i buy jars for pickling vegetables!? I want to pickle my own peppers!.!?
i asked if I could use old pickle jars from the store, but people basically said no because it won't seal properly or something!. I guess i need old jars or special kind of jars!.

Any decent-sized grocery store will sell quart size Mason jars!. I believe two brands are Ball and Kerr!. Use those!.
The jars and lid-rims are re-usable!. But the jar tops have to be replaced after each time you pickle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's the lids that you cannot reuse!. You can use regular canning jars year after year, but need to buy new lids!. Most supermarkets carry jars and lids!. Ask a clerk where to find them!.

You can find canning jars at the grocery store !.!.!.!.!. but be sure to follow the correct canning instructions, which include a hot water bath! It's very easy to get food poisoning from improperly canned fruits and vegetables!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just use regular glass jam jars etc!.
You can get preserving jars with rings and seals at the supermarket!.
The main thing is to sterilise the jars and lids!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
