How do I calm the heat?!

Question: How do I calm the heat!?
It doesn't matter what it is I cooked!. But, i must have added too much cayenne pepper or something!. It was boiled, how can I save the meat!? It's not done yet but the taste test has set my mouth on fire!. When it is done, what can I do!? I'm thinking of draining the pot, then putting the meat in a pot of boiling milk or just plain water!. Suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
id just try removing the meat from the pot and simmering it in milk !. Dont boil because you'll burn the milk!. try putting a potato in with the pot as well!. the potato removes some of the salt im not sure if the potato would work for your heat problem, but it wont hurt to give it a try!. I like spicy foods so, personally to me it might be ok!. i havent had that problem before!. not like youre trying to describe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut off the exterior 1/4 inch of meat with a razor sharp kitchen knife then discard!. Test the reamaining meat!. If it is still too hot, boil a sauce with yogurt, milk, garlic salt!. Pour over the meat!. Test again!. If this is still too hot!. Toss it and start over-Sorry!Www@FoodAQ@Com
