Answers:
the broiler is the burner located on the top of your oven!. It provides direct heat as opposed to indirect heat that is normally used for baking!.
PS - Watch food under a broiler carefully! A few seconds can make the difference between perfect and charred!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Typically it is a burner or infrared unit located at the top of an oven that provides top heat direct cooking!. Think of it as a grill with the heat on the top!.
Some stoves have a separate broiler unit outside of the oven but most are located in the oven!. On my stove the oven temperature knob also controls the broiler!. If I turn the temperature up all the way, the oven (bottom heat) turns off and the broiler turns on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's part of your oven, but it depends on the type of oven you have and probably what country you live in!.
In the U!.S!., an electric oven usually has the broiler burner on the top of the oven compartment!. Position wrack underneath it and set your oven settings to broil (sometimes has a hi or low setting)
A gas stove has the broiler in a drawer under the stove!. Again, the oven controls will have a broil setting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The broiler is the coil that heats up to a very high temperature to cook things very quickly!. It's at the top of your oven!. The bottom coil is what bakes things!.
Turn your oven up to 500 degrees (or if there is a broil setting it will be the same) and do what your directions say!.
Update: Open your oven door and look at the "ceiling" of your oven!. There should be a coil that looks just like the bottom one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

IT depends on your oven!. generally broiler means that the heat is on top of the food!. IF you have an older gas oven then there should be a bottom door you can pull out nad the flames will be on top of the food!. Put the food in there at a high heat (450 or so to broil) If you have an electric oven there is sometimes a coil in the oven on the top and you should be able to set the oven to broil!. hope that helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
There should be a broil setting on your oven!. The broiler then would be the heating element at the very top of your oven!. Usually when you broil something, there is a broiling pan!. It is a shallow metal pan (an inch and a half deep) and then a sheet with these long holes in it goes on top!. Put a little water in the pan and put your food on the sheet!. Then put the sheet on the pan!. It cooks extremely hot, and helps keep the food moist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It depends if you have a gas or an eclectic oven!.
For an electric oven the broiler is the top heating element, and turn the oven knob to "broil"!.
For a gas oven the "broiler" is usually "in the drawer", again set the control knob to broil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The broiler is the heating element in your oven that glows red hot!. In most new ovens it will be at the top in some older ones it can be in a pull out drawer underneath the oven!. also be sure and use the broiler setting on your controls!. Happy cooking;-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
There's probably a little area at the very bottom of your oven that has its own door!. That's the broiler!. Instead of the heat being under your food, it is over it and thus able to toast the top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The broiler is the top part of the element!. Most stoves have broiler written on them but in case you don't, turn up the heat high!. it cooks the top surface very quickly so be careful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
its the bottom draw on the bottom of your stove!.on the nob dial put it on broil and its like a crisper imo!.good to make garlic bread in only and some other stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
