Scratch Onion Dip

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups diced onions
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

In a saute pan over medium heat add oil, heat and add onions and salt!. Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes!. Remove from heat and set aside to cool!. Mix the rest of the ingredients, and then add the cooled onions!. Refrigerate and stir again before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

7-layered dip

2 Large Can Refried Beans
2 Cans Jalapenos -- or chilies
2 Tomatoes -- or more
1 Onion -- (optional)
16 Ounces Sour Cream
2 To 4 Avocados
2 Packages Taco Seasoning
Shredded Cheese -- (Mozzarella and cheddar)
1 To 2 Cans Olives

Directions


Put a layer of fried ground beef and mix it with: Mix the refried beans and taco seasoning together (I also mix the chilies in with this, but some people put the chilies as a layer) Mix this really well (I used a food processor, but today I am going to use my mixer)!.
This is the first layer!.
Put a layer of sour cream on top of the refried beans, taco seasoning and chilies!.
Next put a layer of well mixed/mushed avocados (you need enough to cover the pan, I use a cake pan normally) on top of everything else Next sprinkle cheeses on top (I just thought about it and I put the avocado first and then the sour cream, but I suppose it doesnt matter)!.
I think the more cheese the better myself *grin*! Next cut up tomatoes and add as many as you like, which I like to use at least 2 cut up tomatoes!.
Last put chopped up olives!.
Put in the oven until the cheese is melted!.
I use a low heat so that everything else warms up!.
Last but not least pull out the chips and dip! Everyone really enjoys this dip!.

Spinach dip

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (!.4 ounce) packet dry vegetable soup mix

DIRECTIONS
In a medium mixing bowl combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise and vegetable soup mix!. Mix well!. Refrigerate it for 4 hours!. Stir before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well that depends on the type of dip you're after:


Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip

1/4 cup bacon bits (real or artifical, doesn't matter)
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix
1 16 oz!. container sour cream

Stir the dip mix and sour cream together, combine!. Add the other ingredients, stir well and refrigerate at least one hour before serving!. Serve it with various crackers, like Wheat Thins and Club Crackers!.

Guacamole
Take one ripe avacado, cut, take out seed, & scoop out flesh!. Mix with about 1/2 C salsa!.


Fruit dip #2
One package cream cheese
One small container marshmellow fluff
A DROP of vanilla

Oh and I have learned that it combines a lot easier if you let the cream cheese set out and warm some then use a hand mixer to soften it up!. After it's softened, add the marsh fluff and mix well then add a DROP of vanilla!. It is soooo good with strawberries

peanut butter dip
Serve with apple slices:
1 C creamy PB (can use reduced fat)
1 C brown sugar
1 block softened cream cheese
1/4 C milk
Mix ingredients together well!. Store in fridge!. Keeps for a long time!.


Vegetable Dip
16 oz softened cream cheese
16 oz mayonnaise
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 Tbsp minced dried onion
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp dill seed
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
8 drops Tabasco sauce
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly!. Cover and refrigerate!.

hot crab dip kicks!. i got this recipe from Emeril Live, and I make it for football parties or if I want to impress a crowd!.

1 pound lump crabmeat, picked over for shells and cartilage
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
1/4 pound Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos, grated
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 ounces Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
1 recipe Toasted Croutons, recipe follows

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F!. Combine the crabmeat, garlic, jalapenos, Monterey Jack, Worcestershire, hot sauce, salt, and mayonnaise in a medium-size mixing bowl!. Toss gently to mix!. Spoon the mixture into a medium-size mixing bowl!. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly on the top of the crabmeat mixture!. Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 25 minutes!. Remove from the oven and let sit for about 5 minutes before serving with the croutons!.

TOASTED CROUTONS:
1 loaf French bread (about 8 inches in diameter and 15 inches long), ends trimmed and cut crosswise into 1/4-inch thick slices
5 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F!. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper!. Arrange the bread slices on the baking sheet and brush them with half of the olive oil, then sprinkle them with 1/8 teaspoon of the salt and 1/8 teaspoon of the black pepper!. Turn the slices over, and brush them with the remaining oil, and sprinkle with the remaining salt and pepper!. Bake for about 6 minutes, then turn the baking sheet around in the oven to ensure even browning!. Bake until the croutons are lightly browned, about 6 more minutes!. FRESH RED SALSA

Enough for a large bag of tortilla chips

INGREDIENTS

1 small pack of fresh coriander
1 clove of garlic
1 green chilli pepper
? a red sweet pepper
? an onion
2 tomatoes
1 tablespoon of olive oil
A pinch of salt

METHOD

Wash the coriander and shake dry!. Peel the garlic!. Cut the top off the chilli pepper, cut it in half and scrape out the seeds!. Cut the top off the sweet pepper, remove the middle bit with the seeds and cut it in half!. Use half and save the other half!. Peel the onion and cut it in half!. Use half and save the other half!.

If you don’t have a food processor, chop the chilli pepper, coriander, garlic, sweet pepper and onion into tiny pieces!. Chop the tomatoes into 5mm (? inch) pieces!. Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix together!.

If you have a food processor, coarsely chop the onion, sweet pepper and tomatoes!. Put all of the ingredients into it and process for 1 minute!.

Leave for 30 minutes for the flavours to mix!.

FRESH CHILLI PEPPER WARNING!

When you chop up fresh chilli peppers be careful and avoid getting juice on your hands!. If you touch your eyes, mouth or other ‘sensitive areas’, even an hour after chopping them, they will smart and burn!. So wash your hands or wear rubber gloves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ono Kamaboko Dip

Ingredients:
1 block pink and white Kamoboko
1/2 a raw onion 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Ritz Crackers
Cooking Instructions:
Dis one real easy when u like one quick snack!. Chop the kamoboko and onion into small pieces (bigger or smaller pieces according to your preference)!. Add mayo according to taste and mix in one bowl!. All pau! Now just dunk your Ritz in and grind!

Broke Da Mouth Kamaboko Dip

Ingredients:
1 C Mayonaise
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
1 8oz Cream cheese
1 block Kamaboku, grated 5 stalks Green onions, chopped
1/4 C chopped Onions
1 tray frozen Imitation crab, minced
Cooking Instructions:

4 green onions finely chopped

The amount of parsley that you use is up to you but be sparing with the tarragon vinegar

4-Chip Dip

Recipe Ingredients
8 tablespoons of mayonnaise
4 tablespoons of tomato puree
2 teaspoons of lemon juice

A pinch of sugar

Just combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and you’re done!. A simple delicious dip for your chips that takes no time at all to prepare and is affordable too

5-Bell Pepper and Garlic Dip

Recipe Ingredients
6 red bell peppers
Three quarters of a cup of white breadcrumbs
6 teaspoons of olive oil
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
3 peeled cloves of garlic
Salt and Pepper to season

Preparation and cooking instructions
First remove the seeds and cut the peppers into chunks!. Put the chunks into a saucepan and add the garlic cloves!. Now fill the saucepan with enough water to cover the peppers and garlic cloves and when the water starts to boil turn down the heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until the peppers are tender!. Then drain off the water and allow the peppers and garlic to cool!. Next put into a blender or food processor with the olive oil and the lemon juice and purée!. Finally, put into a bowl and mix thoroughly with the breadcrumbs!. Season with salt and pepper and your dip is ready to serve!.

Crab dip:

(one of my favorites)

1 can crab meat
1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, chopped (green part only)
Thousand Island salad dressing


Mix the first three ingredients together, then mix in the salad dressing!. Keep adding in the dressing until you get the consistency you want!. It's that easy!

500 g Wensleydale or mild soft cheese
200 ml milk
1/2 onion grated
tomato paste
salt pepper
40g walnuts finely chopped
