Any good ideas for "mushy" meals ?!
Hi Folks,
My remaining teeth were no good, so my dentist has hoiked them all out!. Dentures time!.
However, it is going to be a week or so before I can use them without a bit of pain, until the gums heal & harden
So mushed up fryed corned beef, smooth mash, & mushy peas last night!.
There must be some grand ideas without resorting to soups & tinned spaghetti hoops etc!.
All suggestions very thankfully received!.

Darn! I should have written that book when I was a teenager!. I wore braces for four years and the orthodontist installed all kinds of torture devices during that time!. Had all kinds of suggestions for food to eat with a sore mouth then!
I think you are from the UK (or forgive my US ignorance, Australia)!.
These would be my Yank suggestions:
Macaroni and cheese
Baked beans
Very well-cooked Colcannon (okay so I like cabbage!)
Omelets that include ground meat and well-cooked vegetables
Quiche
Potato Soup or creamed soups of any kind
Milk Shakes
Smoothies
Mashed potatoes and gravy with meatloaf
Shepherd's Pie (is that cottage pie!? ground meat with mashed potatoes on top!?)
Hope you heal really fast!Www@FoodAQ@Com
