Does anyone knows a recipe of beef liver with pasta??!


Question: Does anyone knows a recipe of beef liver with pasta!?!?

I just made this up!.!.!.

Fried Beef Liver Penne

1 lb!. beef calf liver, sliced and deveined
3 yellow onions
10 slices bacon
1 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 14!.5 oz!. cans stewed tomatoes
1 6 oz!. can tomato paste
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsely
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
6 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup finely diced onion
1/2 cup white wine
1 lb!. penne

1!. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil!. Add penne, stir and cook until done!. Turn off flame, but do not drain!. Set aside!.
2!. In a food processor, add tomatoes, paste, parsely, garlic, oregano and salt and pepper to taste!. Blend until smooth!.
3!. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute finely chopped onion in olive oil for 2 or 3 minutes!. Add blended tomato sauce and white wine!.
4!. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally!.
5!. Rinse liver in cold water!. Place in a bowl, cover with milk and set aside!.
6!. In a large skillet, heat the bacon over medium hight heat until crispy, reserving 1/2 cup of the drippings!. Drain bacon, cool and crumble!. Add sliced onions until tender!. Remove from skillet and set aside!.
7!. Remove liver from milk, season with salt and pepper and dredge in flour!.
8!. Place in skillet with hot bacon drippings and cook for 3 minutes per side until cooked through!.
9!. Drain pasta and add to marinara sauce!. Add liver, onions, bacon!. Stir well!.
10!. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My husband loves liver!. I just asked him this question and he frowned and said he couldn't imagine combining the two!.

Not that it can't be done, but honestly, I don't think it would be very good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
