Is it best to boil the lasagna pasta before baking, or let the oven take care of it?!

Question: Is it best to boil the lasagna pasta before baking, or let the oven take care of it!?
Answers:
if you boil it it will be nice and soft, obviously!. and good for reheating, which is when lasagna tastes best anyhow!. but, you can just layer the uncooked pasta and the oven, along with the juice from whatever meat or sauce you are using, will soften and 'cook' it!.!.!.but can't really depend on that!. will be crispy, but not in a good way, at least that's what i think!. to your own preference, my friend uses the uncooked pasta in his lasagna, and it's not exactly tasty!.!.not because of the pasta, but his ingredients!. it's sweet!.!.!.and the uncooked pasta wasn't crispy, it was just uncooked pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've done both and can't really say there is much of a difference!. The trick with uncooked noodles is to have extra liquid either in your meat/tomato sauce or cheese mixture for the noodles to absorb!. Without it the dish will dry out!.!.!. You also may need to cook it longer than with pre-cooked noodles!. I usually do about 30min with precooked and 45+ with uncooked!.

Good luck :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have done it both ways!. Honestly, I like the Barilla No-Boil pasta when making my lasagna!.
As another poster has said, make certain you use a little more sauce to make them cook better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would suggest if you let the oven do it ,,, it needs to be a little more saucy so it does not dry up when you cook cause the noodles uncooked take up liquidWww@FoodAQ@Com

boil it not fully just until it is softened

if you put it straight into the oven it is more likely to burnWww@FoodAQ@Com

boil the pasta first!. till they are soft!.
if you just put them in the oven the noodles will be hard when you reheat them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Boil before!. Softens up the noodles!.!.!.otherwise, they will be really hard!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the oven does it no need to boilWww@FoodAQ@Com

let the oven take care of it ! duhWww@FoodAQ@Com

i always boil mine first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
