Does anyone have a good, simple cookie recipe?!


Question: Does anyone have a good, simple cookie recipe!?
I wanted to make these:

But I don't have any baking powder!. I wanted to make baking powder, but we don't have any cream of tartar!. I can't go out and get some tonight!. Are there any simple sugar cookie recipes that don't need baking powder!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sugar Cookies

2 3/4 cups self-rising flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth!. Beat in egg and vanilla!. Gradually blend in the flour!. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets!.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden!. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks!.

any package of cake mix!.!.!.add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of oil
Bake at 350 degrees!.!.!. 8-10 minutes
Makes 18-24 cookies!.!.!.soft and good and quick! You can add peanut butter, choc!. chips etc to your liking!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you really cant make cookies without baking powder or baking soda!. they make the cookies rise and activate them!.
