How do u mince an onion?!
Answers:
After it's peeled, you can either slice it very thin both vertically and horizontally in a chopping motion or you can process it in a food processor!. It just means to finely chop!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Mince means very fine chopping!. Usually a recipe calling for that doesn't want recognizable lumps of onion in it!. My stepchildren were like that!.
So, two ways to accomplish it!. If it's not a large quantity, you just double chop, that is chop it finely as you normally would!. Then use a good chefs knife in a rocking motion to chop it even more finely!.
The alternative that is easier on the front end, but more cleanup, is to use your food processor to pulse the chopped onion until it's very finely chopped, but not a slurry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
