Favorite way to make a grilled cheese sandwich?!
What is your favorite way to eat a grilled cheese, and what do you like to add as a side dish!?
My fave is a very nutty wheat bread with swiss cheese, grilled with mayo on the outside instead of butter!.

Sourdough bread!. Spread edge to edge on the outside with real mayonnaise!. Fill with a good cheddar cheese like Cabot extra sharp or Tillamook Sharp white cheddar!. Grill on medium heat in a pan on the stovetop!.
Serve with Tomato soup with added spices like black and cayenne pepper, garlic and onion powder, marjoram, your favorite hot sauce (Mine is Melinda's) and parmesan cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 chorizo sausages (6 ounces), thinly sliced on the diagonal
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
8 slices of sourdough bread, cut from a pullman loaf
6 ounces Pepper Jack cheese, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons drained and sliced pickled jalape?os
6 ounces Havarti cheese, thinly sliced
directions
In a large skillet, cook the sliced chorizo over moderately high heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 3 minutes!. Drain the chorizo on paper towels and wipe out the skillet!.
Butter the bread on 1 side and turn 4 slices buttered side down on a work surface!. Top with Pepper Jack, chorizo, pickled jalape?os and Havarti!. Close the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices, turning the buttered side up!.
Preheat 2 large skillets!. Add the sandwiches and cook over moderate heat, turning once, until the bread is golden and crisp, about 8 minutes!. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like brie cheese together with butter, white bread, 1 cup of roasted red peppers, dijon mustard, and sliced smoked ham!. Tomato soup is the best side with Goldfish Crackers in it!. It's kind of a grown-up sandwich with kid side!. It's good if you have King's Hawaii Sweet Bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I only can say "Toast Hawaii"!. I have never seen one without cheese!.

i like to cook mine in a thick kaiser roll i've cut in half and just put american cheese on it and cook until getting dark because i like the crisp soft yet crunchy taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
