Answers:
are you in H!.S!. or college!? if youre in H!.S!. take the calculus the food science will help you a little but not much in a culinary arts H!.S!. course!. i ended up teaching my culinary arts class in high school!. Better yet if you really want to be a food service worker ask your culinary arts teacher if you should take the food science class to prepare for the culinary arts course!. either way calculus is still the better choice!. Trust me i know!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on what you want for the future!. If you believe you want to work in the food industry, then obviously you know what the next choice should be as it will reinforce the foundation for that career!.

If you aren't sure that you will pursue Culinary Arts beyond school, then you need to really think hard about what career you truly want to pursue - and shift focus before you're too locked into something you aren't sure you want!.

You can't get these years back, so talk to an adviser if you aren't sure what your ambitions are!. It's too important to waste two years going in one direction when you come to realise you wanted to be something completely different!.
