I cooked a large roast then froze it. What is the best way to reheat it?!
Answers:
I would put it in a covered crockpot/slow cooker on low and heat it JUST until the desired temperature!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
if it was all meal like, ie vegtables poatoes, i would defrost it in a large container, re heat slowly in oven or micro wave!.!.
and let it sit in it juices for a bit!.
i find roast gets better the next day!.
i re heat dinner sized protions in microwave , let it sit for 30 mins, and re heat again for a few mins to eat!.
and its gets better each time i eat it!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It would be easiest if you thawed it in the fridge first!. But if you can't, put it in a baking pan w/ a couple cups of water, add roast, and cover tightly w/ lid or foil!. Set in a 300oF oven for 3-4 hours!. You may want to try to cut the roat in half a couple hours into it, so it heats up evenly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I second the crock pot idea!. You can even put it into a crock pot frozen!.
If you intend to slice for sandwiches, let it thaw most of the way and slice while still frozen!. Works better for more even slices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
