Cooking spaghetti sauce, when served its slightly watery in the bottom of the plate?!
How can I avoid the slight watery that settles on the bottom of the plate when served with spaghetti noodles!?
Should i leave the lid off the sauce for about 1 hour before serving to allow the water to cook out!?
OR,, is the water coming from the spaghetti noodles!?
I strain the spaghetti noodles and cool them off with cold water, and allow the noodles set for 20 mins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds as if the spaghetti noodles aren't completely drained of the cooking water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It may not be the sauce itself, it may be the noodles!. When you drain them place them in the colander on top of the pot you boiled them in on the burner that is still warm!. It will help get the extra moisture out of them and no more runny on plate!~
Stop rinsing the noodles!. Just put them in a colander and set them back on the stove top with the burner off but still warm!.
Rinsing them takes away the starch that helps the sauce stick to them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook the noodles slightly less, al dente!. After draining thoroughly return to the pot with low heat!. While still in the pot add just enough of the spaghetti sauce to coat the noodles!. By cooking them slightly less then normal the spaghetti can continue to take up liquid while on the plate!.
Some people add a small amount of oil, butter or margarine to the spaghetti after draining and before adding a bit of sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why would you want cold wet noodles with spaghetti!?
Just drain the noodles after cooking, and serve immediately!. No rinsing, no shocking, just drain and put the servings right on the plate!. They're so hot that when you scoop a portion up for the plating, they're practically dry by the time you get them to the plate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Largely, this is coming from the pasta!. You have to drain the noodles and then finally right before serving, give them a good shaking and serve!. The the pasta sauce may have some moisture, but cooking the moisture out will concentrate the sauce and cause it to taste too acidic or it will burn!. Just stir the sauce vigorously before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Water is coming from the noodles!. I don't rinse mine, I just drain the water in a strainer, if you put the noodles back in the pan they were cooked in, the heat from the pan will help the excess water evaporate!. Toss the noodles around and then pour them back into a serving bowl, problem solved:-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
It bugs me too, I put a folded paper towel on the edge of the plate and drain the noodles towards it, then slap on the sauce, it gets rid of most of it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
it depends on if your making your own sauce!?

Its most likely from the noodles, make sure in your strainer that there is NO excess water, and shake them alot!. also make sure your sauce is thick enough that it doesnt run everywhereWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure about using your sink as a strainer-regardless how clean it looks a sink harbors many strains of bacteria!.
It might be better to strain in small batches in a colander!.
It's also better not to add any oil etc!. to the strained pasta as this makes it harder for the sauce to stick!.It is very hard to not get a little thinning of the sauce at the bottom of the plate-I've had the same thing happen-I found that letting the sauce set till the excess oils or fats rise to the top and soaking it up with a paper towel seems to help too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
