What's the best way to keep & store homemade cookie dough?!

Question: What's the best way to keep & store homemade cookie dough!?
I just made a huge bowl of sugar cookie dough!. I only baked about half a dozen, and want to keep the rest of the dough until next weekend!. What's the best way to store it so that when I use it next week, the cookies still come out great!?

Thanks! :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Shape it into a log type shape!. Then roll it in wax paper and make a good log shape!. Wrap again in seran wrap!. The you can just slice the dough and not have to scoop each one!.

Or just wrap it up reall tight in seran wrap and put in the fridge!.

You can freeze it but it will keep okay for a week in the fridge as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Freeze them in Tupperware containers or Glad plastic containers!. Allow to thaw before the weekend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

pat into a thick disc, and slip into a zipper bag and freeze it!. Thaw in fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
