Can I use turbinado sugar in bread pudding?!

Question: Can I use turbinado sugar in bread pudding!?
I use it for pretty much every recipe that calls for sugar even my bread but this recipe specifically states white sugar I'd just hate to waste everything if it's going to mess it up or taste bad so far I haven't really noticed a difference in recipes but most call for sugar not white sugar!.!.!.!.HELP!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm sure it will work just fine!.

I've hardly used anything else but turbinado and I've never come across a problem!. At most it will add a faint caramel flavor and will only enhance your bread pudding!.

However, depending on how coarse your turbinado is, you might want to work it a little before use, just in case that matters in this recipe!. I wouldn't bother myself, but it might be prudent!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually for me it is all I use, as I use alot of whole grain breads and soak it overnight and bake it the next day, it uses fewer eggs, results in a souffle like mix, and is alot more intense!.

I have made it with leftover crossiants, cinnamon rolls, broiche is nice and I like crusty loaves if using any white bread, Italian ciabatta is great as it has not fat and soaks up the best, even slightly drying the bread in the oven, and then making it, I sprinkle my raisins between the layers of bread like a lasagna, and even chocolate chips are fun, no nuts they get gummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can!.
Bread Pudding, only calls for the pudding to be sweetened!.
I have also used brown sugar, when white wasn't available!.
Go for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
