I think this is what you are talking about!. Use puff pastry and sprinkle on some sugar and cinnamon and roll from each side towards the center!. Slice into 1/4 in slices and bake on a cookie sheet!. I think that's how you do it!. I've just heard of them from my mother in law, but never made them myself!.
Okay from what everyone else is describing you are asking about something called fry bread (well where I'm from that's what it is called) Just use any dread dough home made or frozen, flatten out and fry in oil!. You can top with honey butter, cinnamon sugar etc!.!.!. or Indian Tacos!. Just top with everything you would put on you taco and eat with a knife and fork!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I remember those from the fair!. I used to make them at home with my kids!.
We took bread dough or the refrigerated biscuit dough and I let the kids shape their own piece by flattening it out and I would fry it in a skillet with about an inch or so of oil then when they were golden, take them out and roll or sprinkle on the cinnamon sugar!. They loved them!Www@FoodAQ@Com
