While your oil is getting up to temp!., cut your tortillas into wedges (or strips)!. You want your oil to get pretty hot (drop in a wedge and watch it sizzle) set your burner to med-high!. Do not walk away-they cook quickly!. Turn them when they start to brown!. You want both sides to be browned well, but don't burn them!. Use a slotted spoon to remove them to paper towels to drain!. Salt when they are still hot (they will absorb the salt better) Tip: if you take them out too soon they will be chewy and not be crispy, take them out too late and they will taste burnt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

get a cookie baking pan, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit, cut the corn tortillas into different shapes and sizes, bake it in the oven for about 8-12 minutes!. When they are crisp, easy to pick up, and golden, place them out on a rack to cool off and get VERY crispy, or crunchy!. Hope I helped!Www@FoodAQ@Com

with any kind of corn flour all you add is water!. Make sure is not too soft nor too hard!. and fry them in oil until crisp!. Flour and corn mixture is always different so do not expected to feel the same!.
The corn tortillas that you eat in the store are never the same from real corn tortillasWww@FoodAQ@Com

You can fry them as your describe or toast them in the oven at 350 for baked chips-15 minutes spread over a cookie sheet in a single layer (healthier and less mess too)!. Use a pizza cutter to cut them 3-4 at a time stacked into triangle either way!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's exactly how I make them!. Just be sure that when you take them out, you put them on paper towels so the oil can run off!. They're fattening, but sometimes you just gotta forget that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cut them in to triangles and either deep fry until they float or place them on a baking sheet in a single layer, spray with pam or another cooking spray and sprinkle with salt, bake at 475* until crisp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
