What are some things to fill onigiri with if you dont like fish?!


Question: What are some things to fill onigiri with if you dont like fish!?
!.!.!.!.im trying to make onigiri (rice balls) and was looking up differnet simple kinds of fillings you could find in an american kitchen, but most of the recipies involve fish and i hate fish!.!.!.what are so other suggestions for onigiri fillings!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pretty much any kind of meat will work if you cut it up; teriyaki chicken is particularly good!. Seasoned, cooked vegetables are nice, too!. You can also mix stuff into the rice before making it into onigiri, instead of adding a filling!. Eggs scrambled with a little sugar work really well for this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Basically, anything that fits with rice and is not too greasy or watery can be used as filling!. So, if the traditional fillings don’t appeal to you, try things that you like and see how they taste!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can put in some seaweed, or something like meat, such as chicken or ground meat!. It tastes really good!. My mom and I made some too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
