I use wax paper as well, but have also used foil at times!. The secret to using foil is to make sure that it is well greased - preferably with non-stick spray!. That way you have no worries about sticking!.

I use waxed paper!. Put it under the pan and trace around the edges to get the shape, cut slightly smaller the the tracing!. Cut a long strip out of the edges!. Put the strip in the bottom of the pan, cover with the circle!. Cook as usual!. Use the strips to help lift the cake out so that the rounded top stays on the top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

actually I line everything in foil, brownies, cake, anything and it doesn't stick and it keeps the pan clean!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not so much on the foil!. Won't turn out right!. Do you have parchment paper!? That would work better!. Time to get some new pans:-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
