Cooks only! What is your favorite Guacamole concoction?!
Please do not cut and paste guacamole recipes!.!.!.I have been making Guac!. for 30 years!. I have a new combo chilling right now!. Don't want beginners ideas unless they are kitchen tested!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Like you, my husband and I make new guac recipes all the time!. It really just depends on whats in the fridge or the cupboard!. I'll share a secret with you though!.!.!.A splash of white vinegar brings out the flavor of the avocado perfectly!. I learned this from a cook who made huge vats of guac for a popular burrito joint in Atlanta!. Lemon and lime juice are great of course, but if the avocado is delicious then I say don't mask the flavor with any other strong ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like fresh avacados, tomatoes, onion, fresh garlic, cilantro, salt & pepper, fresh lime juice and lots of jalepeno!. I like to make a fresh salsa w/ basically the same ingredients minus the avacados and them add avacados to half of it for chips and guac!. I also like to puree half my guac and add to the chunky half!. I like both textures!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
ha! I just made some for last nights supper
3 medium soft ripe avocados mashed slightly cause I like it chunky
then I mince about 1/4 cup onion
chop finely 1/2 red ripe tomato
1 large piece of garlic!.!. crushed and minced finely (I love garlic, dont come to my house if you're worried about breathe)
juice from one lemon
a palm full of cilantro leaves chopped finely
3 tablespoons of Pace picante sauce (yes im a Texas, Tex-mex fan and love Pace picante sauce)
generous amount of salt, stir and serve!.!. mmmm!
if someone wants it spicier,, I add a few dashes of tobasco sauce!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
