Can you make a good pesto sauce if you don't have the cheese?!

Absolutely, it will still be awesome!. You will want to add salt to taste since parmesan cheese adds quite a bit of salt to the pesto recipe and you may miss the saltiness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you don't plan on eating it today, you can grate up some Parm when you get it and stir it in later (just a thought)

You can make the pesto as is & refrigerate -- then when you get the cheese, pass it at the table or add to the readymade pesto!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
