Question: Please hurry!!!!?
how can i tell if sweet corn is done if im boiling it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If you try it in the microwave it is fantastic!. Just wash so the cob has bit of water on it!. Wipe with soft butter!. Wrap in wax paper, twisting the ends shut!. Put on microwave plate from the centre out like spokes of a wheel!. MW on high for 3 minutes!. Turn!. MW another 4 to 6 minutes depending on how many you are cooking!. Carefully unwrap, as very hot and steamy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

So dont cook your corn for 15 minutes!.!.!.yuck mush!.!.!.!.i cook it for about 5-6 minutes in boiling water!.!.!.!.!.yumm!.!.going to get some corn on the cob now!.!.!.!.
also if you cook it for only this amount of time you can put the ears on the table in a pan or bowl with a lid so you get pipping hot cobs as you eat!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it is on the cob I would only do it 5 minutes or so after the water comes to a boil again or it will be overcooked and tough!. Make sure the water is boiling hard when you put it in and then turn it down a bit!. Corn cooks very quickly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some people eat it raw! I have a recipe where you scrape the raw kernels off the cob and use them in a salad!. Yum!

15-20 minutes cooking time results in tough, overcooked corn!. I boil it for 5-10 minutes, and it's hot, tender and dee-lish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I let it boil about 15 minutes and call it good!. Unless it is right off the stalk tender in which case it'll cook up in about 5-7!. It's a bit early where I am for that fresh of corn but another couple of weeks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to taste it, and if it is not crunchy anymore then you know that it is done because it has to be soft!. but not mushy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when it's fullly dark yellowish color all the way, and also, it does only take 15-20 minutes for corn to boil in full pot of water!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

drop it into boiling water, set the timer for 5-6 minutes!. When timer goes off, it's done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pull off some kernels and taste them!. The corn just has to be softer than raw corn!. Corn on the cob takes about 15-20 minutes to cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
