Corn bread?!


Question: Corn bread!?
Somebody at work brought in a wonderful sour cream corn bread one time!. She no longer works here and I am looking for the recipe, anybody know of a good southern sour cream corn bread recipe!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

My family loves this moist and flavorful cornbread!. It's delicious with gumbo, beans or chili, or a hearty stew!. If you like a sweeter cornbread, add a few tablespoons of sugar to the batter!.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 scant teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 can (approx!. 15 ounces) cream-style corn
3 eggs
6 tablespoons butter, melted
PREPARATION:
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl!. Whisk together the remaining ingredients!. Combine mixtures, stirring until all ingredients are moistened!. Spread in a greased and floured 9-inch baking pan!. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes!.

Extra Moist Cornbread with Sour Cream

Ingredients
3 large eggs
1/2 cup canola oil or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounces creamed corn
1 cup sour cream (I use reduced fat)
1 1/2 boxes Jiffy corn muffin mix

Directions
1Lightly grease a 13"X9" pan!.
2Preheat your oven to 375 F degrees!.
3Beat eggs until light, then add the oil and the salt!.
4Continue to mix this together and add the creamed corn, the sour cream and finally, the muffin mix!.
5Pour mixture into the prepared pan and place in the oven!.
6Bake for 35 minutes!.
7Add extra taste to the recipe using some of the following if you wish: 1 small can diced (and drained) geen chilies, 1/2-3/4 cup grated cheese (Monterey Jack or medium cheddar work well)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Southern Sour Cream Cornbread

1 cup self-rising cornmeal
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp!. salt
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cream style corn (0r 8 oz!. can)

Combine ingredients in order listed, beating well after each addition!.

Pour batter into a 10 inch greased cast iron skillet!. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

SOUR CREAM CORNBREAD

1 1/2 c!. self-rising corn meal (I prefer yellow corn meal)
1 egg
1 sm!. onion, chopped fine
1 sm!. can cream style corn
1 c!. sour cream
1/2 c!. cooking oil

Mix all ingredients well and pour into your favorite cornbread pan or muffin tins!. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes!. (This is a moist bread!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use boxed corn mix and sub sour cream for 1/2 of the milk that called for!. It gives a really tangy taste!. Try a few dashes of hot sauce and sliced green onions and it's like mexican corn breadWww@FoodAQ@Com
