Heat the fryer up to 375F!. Slice zucchini on the bias about 1/4-1/2 thick!. Fill a bowl part way with milk and put the zucchini slices in!. Fill a zip top bag with seasoned flour (add salt and pepper to the flour) and put the milk covered Z (shake them off a little) in there!. Shake it up until they are coated!. Repeat as needed for all Z!. Put seasoned (Italian it sounds like) fine bread crumbs into another baggie and put the flour coated (Knock off the excess flour) Z in there and shake those up!. Fry them a few at a time until golden brown!. Prepare a cookie sheet with triple paper towels covering it!. When you take the cooked slices out, put them on the paper towels for drying!. Keep the heat up on the Fryer or the Z will take on oil!. Garnish with some parsley and freshly grated parmesan!.
I make marinara as such: In a large pan in 2T olive oil saute a small diced onion (or medium shallot) until translucent!. Add a couple cloves (or 4) minced garlic!. Before the garlic browns, dump in a couple cans (28 oz total) of diced tomatoes with sauce!. Add basil and oregano (or whatever italian seasoning mix you like) and salt and pepper until it is tasty!. Put in a bit of balsamic and a pinch of sugar!. Let that simmer for 15 minutes until the water cooks out a bit!. Hit it with a hand blender or your food processor to make it friendlier for dipping!.
Try ranch too!. My kids love the ranch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is very simple, no breading (why do you need it!?) and somewhat unusual!.
Simply cut the zucchini crosswise into about quarter inch rounds!. Heat on medium a frying pan, with some olive oil, large enough to take the zucchini in a single layer!.
Fry in a small amount of olive oil!. (You can add some thinly cut onion rings if desired!.)
Cook until browned on one side!. Flip and cook the zucchini on the other side!. Just before they are browned on the second side add a large amount of paprika and stir everything together!. After about one minute take off the heat and serve or reserve to add to your marinara sauce!.
Adding the paprika at the end coats the zucchini nicely and releases the flavor of the paprika without burning it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your looking for a not so "bready" version of fried zucchini here it is:
slice the zucchini really thin and then dip in corn starch or flour till fully coated!. Tap access flour off and fry in a hot frying pan filled with equal parts of olive oil and vegetable oil!. Fry till golden brown, remove from oil and place on kitchen paper to soak up access oil!. Salt and serve immediately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slice the zucchini in 1/4" slices!. Dip in beaten eggs, then dredge in Italian seasoned breadcrumbs---repeat the process for each slice for a nice thicker coating!. Lay all then out on wax paper!.
Heat oil!. Saute about 2-3mins per side til golden brown, turn over!. Place on paper towel to drain off excess oil----place on platter & serve w/ any sauce you prefer!.
Scrumptious! Bon Appetit!Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you just fry it up in olive oil with some garlic and onions, it should go beautifully with a marinara!.
for battered, use 1 C!. milk
1 beaten egg
wisk together
dip zucchini (coins or sticks) into milk and then flour!. fry til golden
for something different, try using a store bought package of fish fry instead of flour!. they come in many flavors!. the lemon pepper would compliment an italian dish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
