Question: Having trouble making homemade mints for my wedding reception-How do I prevent mints sticking in rubber mold!?
Answers:
Roll the little ball of dough in table sugar before pressing it into the mold!. This will prevent sticking and give the mint a nice sparkle!. I've made them many times and this is what I always do!. I would avoid the cooking spray and cornstarch as they will both affect the flavor of the mint as well as the look of the finished product!. also make sure your dough is firm enough- if it is very sticky add more powdered sugar so that it is easier to work with!. You can also try refrigerating the dough for a bit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
