Would this be a good way to make spaghetti sauce?!
1/2 pd ground beef
1/2 pd hot saugsage
Crumble and fry w/ onions and green peppers
Add 1 lg jar of Prego (onion garlic chunky ) sauce
Add 2 tspns Pepper blend
Dash of oregano
1-2 Tspns garlic powder
1 tspn light brown sugar!.!.!.
Simmer for a few hours

Sure !.!.!. You could also use a large (I think it's 28 oz) crushed tomatoes and a can of diced tomatoes (I like the Italian seasoned), and add some oregano, basil, garlic and rosemary !.!.!.!.!. That'd be cheaper than the Prego!. You can used some finely grated carrot, instead of the sugar too, if you want!. It's a natural sweetener, and will thicken it slightly, and makes it a little healthier too! (you won't taste the carrots)Www@FoodAQ@Com
I do it pretty much the same way but with a pound of Italian sausage and leave out the sugar!. You can also add mushrooms or a little red wine if you want!.

That sounds delicious!.!.!. although, you probably dont need to simmer it for too long, as long as you make sure the meat is thoroughly cooked!.

Sounds good, but you don't really have to add oregano!. My recipe is similar to yours but I don't use green peppers and I use the Prego w/ mushrooms and white sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
