It doesn't necessarily taste so different, except it may not taste as rich!. Eggs give the cake structure and will make a cake lighter and fluffier!. That's why cake brownies call for more eggs than fudge-type brownies!.

The biggest problem you'll have by not adding eggs to a cake recipe (without a suitable substitute) is that your cake won't rise very well and won't hold together very well!. It's like trying to build a road without concrete!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
