Answers:
Your brownies should taste fine without the vanilla!. The vanilla adds a slightly creamy note, to the flavour!.

But other substitutions that work well to enhance flavour-

1 teaspoon Almond extract (add almonds instead of walnuts)
1 teaspoon Coconut extract
? teaspoon ground Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon instant coffee
1 teaspoon Rum Extract or ? cup of real rum

These will give different varieties of brownies!. also if you have them!.!.!. White chocolate chips also make a good vanilla substitute, since they often have vanilla as their base flavouring!. If you add these!. Use ? cup white chips, and add pecans or almonds if you're adding nuts!.

You can also skip the vanilla and add chopped dried fruit instead!. Dried fruits that work well include, blueberries, cherries, coconut, pineapple, raisins and crushed banana chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no law that says you have to put the flavoring in the brownies at all!. You can just skip over the vanilla or you can use lemon extract, almond extract, whatever mom has on the shelf!. It will change the flavor of the brownies a bit, but not that much!.

Just skip the vanilla if you can't find it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can leave out the vanilla, it's only for flavor!. Or you can use a tsp of chocolate syrup or a spoonful of made coffee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just leave out the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, they should taste just fine without it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would try 1 tablespoon of real butter!.

Melt it gently into the oil!.

Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

just make them without it, it is not a necessary for the recipe to be a successWww@FoodAQ@Com
