Question: Curry powder when recipe calls for curry paste, can I still use it & how much would be the equivalent of 1tbsp
Answers:
yes, I'd use the same amount, tbsp for tbsp, see how it tastes and adjust if neccessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I regularly get this problem, combining and converting curry recipes!. As above, I use the same amount!. However, I've never had it end up gritty!. Most curries have to bubble away for quite a while, and it should be completely dissolved by the end!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Teaspoon - the only thing is, it might be a tad gritty! If you have a pestle and mortar, try to grind it a little more!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The amounts would be equal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why use this god awful stuff!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
