Instructions

Things You’ll Need:
* 1 tsp!. salt
* 1 tsp!. baking soda
* 1 c!. (2 sticks) softened butter
* 3/4 c!. granulated sugar
* 1 c!. chopped nuts
* 3/4 c!. packed brown sugar
* 2 c!. (1 package) Nestle? Toll House? semisweet chocolate chips
* 1 tsp!. vanilla extract
* 2-1/4 c!. all-purpose flour
* 2 large eggs
Step1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F!.
Step2
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl!.
Step3
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy!.
Step4
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition!.
Step5
Gradually beat in flour mixture!.
Step6
Stir in nuts and Nestle? Toll House? chocolate morsels!.
Step7
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets!.
Step8
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown!.

Sweetiep!.!.!.'s recipe, off of the Nestle package, is by far the best!. Go with that!. Personally I believe that nuts have no place in cc cookies, but hey, whatever floats your boat!.!.!.

I would go with the toll house recipe, too!. The only change I would make is half the butter and use Crisco Shortening!. This makes for a fluffier cookie - my family loves them!Www@FoodAQ@Com
