Empanadas are fun and easy to make and yummie but I've yet to try my uncle's or mom's famous family recipe but I am sure she (my Patrona) would be very happy to share it with you and ooooh Svedish Meata bolla is always good old fashioned fun even if we aren't having a food fight or don't even get to watch them poor meata balls
fall onto the floor!.!.!.
Always loved that song cuz it just made me laugh trying to picture how my poor meat ball would roll out the front door without somebody poking it from behind with a stick or golf club or kicking it or something!.!.!. while dreaming of muscular soccer players in short shorts and men in tights (not too tight of course cuz then it takes away some of the spicy badda bing) when dancing and leaping across the bloddy blasted scuff-marked floors, butt butt that's ok eh, as long as somebody be dancing on it, who gives a hineyheidiho
so whatever you make, don't forget to have some good music to cook by and be sure to make lots and lots of boom chicka boom and bang clanga lang noises in the kitchen while talking to yourself while barking on occasion then hey!.!.!.
maybe the rest of the family will decide you need a rest and take you out Chinese or Paella instead cuz it's too friggen hot to cook over here today anyways!.
Sheesh, where is you woman!? In Anchorage!? Don't tell me you have air-con in your kitchen as well as them 3 big draws cuz if you do, I'm leaving my husband and coming to your house for dinner!Www@FoodAQ@Com

So I brought this to a party and it was a hit!
Mix up a meat loaf
place meat loaf mix in two cake pans, and place in 350* oven for about 45 min to 1 hour
peel and cut up about 3 to 4 lbs of potato's, place in boiling salted water (your making mashed pots, I add a chopped up onion to my pot's) once made, set aside
have some baby carrots boiling in some sugar water (1 bag)
have some fresh cut green beans boiling in some water strain these veggies
when the meat loaf is done take 1 of them out of it's pan and place it on an oven proof dish
if your meat loaves are high enough you can split the loaves into layers as you would if you were making a layered cake!. Are you seeing this yet!?
Now the fun begins!.!.!.!.start to ice the meat loaf with the mashed pot's and add a layer of carrots and green beans, place the next layer and repeat the process
when you get to the top ice it and you can make it look like a dressed up cake with your green beans and carrots!. Because it took time to make, once I had it all put together I placed it back into the oven to heat it up, with tin foil covering it, for about 20 min!.
I made a country sausage gravy to go with this and it disappeared sooner than anything that was brought to the party! I must tell you everyone looked at it kinda funny at first, my mother-in-law sliced the first piece, a very narrow piece, and came back shortly and got a big slice!Www@FoodAQ@Com
