I am making homemade brownies, it says to use a sheet cake pan!. I am using pyrex, I have all of their sizes!. Which one is it!? I thought it was the one bigger than the 13x9 but I don't have enough batter for that one!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
a full sheetcake pan is 18x24 !.!.!.!.!.i would say go with a 9x13 pan unless you want really thick brownies, then use an 8x8 pan!.!.!.!.!.a smaller pan with thicker brownies will require a longer cooking time!.!.!.!.!.!.when the edges start to pull away from the side of the pan, that is a good indication with brownies that they are done!.!.!.!.!.good luck!!!! brownies sound yummy right now :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

A full sheet cake pan is ::
Standard Bun Pan:26x18x1-inch or
Cake Pans: 24x16x2 or 24x16x3-inches;
an also be 26x22
A full sheet cake pan won't even fit into the average American oven and the average cook doesn't know that!. Apparently!

A 'sheet cake' would typically be made in your 13x9 pan!.

The brownies will rise in the oven, so if when you say you don't have enough batter you're only looking to get 3/4inch or so!. Otherwise, bake them in a smaller pan!. Be a rebel!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i always make brownies in either an 8" x 8" pan or a 13" x 9"!. depending on the recipe!. But if the recipe you are using says "sheet cake" that generall means the 13" x 9"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for brownies, its typically what the other person said!.!. 13x9, but it depends on your preference/batch size!.!. if you like thitck ones, 9x9 would be betterWww@FoodAQ@Com
