1!. Wash them

Depends on how you want them!. Yes, you can boil them in a pot if their frozen!. Fresh beans you can put in a skillet, throw some olive oil or just butter, stir arouund for a couple minutes until hot!. The skillet should be on about a little over medium!. Bruno has it down to the perfect recipe, that is exactly how I would cook them!. I do use shallots when I saute my green beans with olive oil, salt, pepper and a pad or 2 of butter!. A little minced garlic is also good to add!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yum! Green beans are some good!. You can "nuke" them too!.!.!. top and tail them, place in a dish with just a splash of water and nuke on hi for 2 minutes, drain and put grated cheese over them while they are still hot!.

I snap the ends off!.!.!.!.someone told me a long time ago not to use a knife to cut the ends off!.!.!.!.why, I don't know!. I put them in a pot of water with some salt pork for flavoring!. Cook to the desired tenderness you like!. Drain, add butter, salt and pepper to taste!. Yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ohhhhh, my favorite thing ever---fresh green beans from the market! parboil them until they are bright green and then toss with butter (real butter!) or olive oil and fresh crushed garlic in a low-heat skillet!.
