Here is the best way I found to learn cooking:

Get yourself a nice small note book!. Now chose only 1 or 2 dishes that you really like to eat!. learn how to cook them by making them quite often (2-3 or even 4 times a week)!. In less that a month, you'll perfect them!. Write these recipes in your notebook, and start with new recipes!. The beauty of cooking is that once you master any recipe, its almost impossible to forget it no matter how long did you abandon it for!.

In less than 6 months you'll have a nice menu in your notebook that rivals any restaurant (remember, it takes years in a cooking school to reach about the same result)!. You can open that book anytime or get your friends to choose from it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Jump in and swim! Start easy with things like scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, oatmeal, and skillet dinners!. Learn what herbs and seasonings go well with each other!. Expect a lot of your first dishes to turn out bad, this effect will lessen as you learn!. Take the effort to learn how to use your equipment properly from the start, it will make your life soooo much easier down the line!. Get several different taste testers so you can get a wider perspective on how your dishes turn out!.
Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
