Egg expiration date?!

Question: Egg expiration date!?
I want to make blueberry muffins, but my eggs have an expiration date of June 22nd!. Can I still use them in a baked recipe!? How do you know if the eggs are still good!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Fill a pot or big bowl with cold tap water!. Put the eggs in it gently!. If they float they're bad!. If they turn up but don't float to the top they're ok to bake with or use for boiled eggs, like easter eggs (hard boiled)!. If they sink all the way they're still totally fresh!. If they come up from the very bottom of the dish in cold water they should probably be tossed and buy new ones!.

The more air inside them the less fresh they are!. They're porous, so over time air gets in them and spoils them!. That's why they float if they're bad!. Turning on the ends is ok for baking or boiling, but probably not for sunny side up eggs!. And like I said before if they're floating in the water throw them out!Www@FoodAQ@Com

date on carton is last date the store can sell them!.!.!.
as long as they are refrigerated they will last for months!.!.

if they are bad they will smell bad through the shell!.!.!.

eggs make me nervous anyway, so I always break them in a separate dish, then add them to whatever I'm making!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When in doubt throw them out!. Saving a lil money is not worth getting sick over!. Hope this Helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
