I have tried putting them into a glass bowl, covering it, and shaking it really hard (as seen on the Food Network) but this did not work for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Even soaking them in boiling water for a few minutes and then with a dry cloth rubbing the skins off, just as I left the hotel trade did the come out with 5-10 pound bags of peeled and clean garlic cloves, if you can ever find a place, Costco and Sam's Clubs have them then get them and they freeze well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A lot of markets sell peeled garlic cloves, so if you need a whole bunch you may want to buy them already peeled!.

Otherwise, I just press them under the side of my knife and most of the peel just comes right off!. Of course, this isn't really the best option if you're planning on chopping up the cloves, as they get crushed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need a garlic press!. All you do is place the whole clove of garlic inside and give it a squeeze!. The garlic comes out minced and you don't even have to touch it!. I got mine from Pampered Chef!. It is one of the greatest cooking tools ever invented!

Wrap a head of garlic in foil, put into a oven on a medium heat for like 10-15 minutes, then there is no need to peel, if you just 'schmooze' the garlic, it will come right out, sweet and mushy =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just put the garlic cloves in the plastic bag (grocery bag) and tie the bag loosely!. Then hit the garlic cloves all over with rolling pins!. The peels now will come off easily!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Spread the cloves out on a plate, microwave 5 to 8 seconds!. Too easy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use the SIDE of my knife and press!.!.!.!.the peel comes off with ease!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
