What is the healthiest way to cook a chicken breast?!
Hey there, so I have some chicken breast, I want to cook one for lunch with some veggies, but I was wondering, what is hte healthiest way to cook it!? I normally poach it, but I don't know!? Any ideas!? I need it to be healthy, so no deepf rying!. lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Avoid boiling or poaching- chix breasts are dry, already, and this cooks out what little flavor there already is!. One way that works well for a crowd is to make salads with all your favorite veggies!. then, at the last minute, quickly grill or pan fry using a tiny bit EVO!. However, if you marinate them for a few hours in italian dressing, you can slice them in 1/2 inch slices, pop in a HOT cast iron skillet or spider, and stir to cook evenly!. Don't over cook - they will dry out!.
Serve with dressings on the side!.
You can marinate them easily if you pour a couple spoons of italian dressing in a baggie and place the sliced chix in it!. shake a couple times about every 1/2 hour!. the oil from the dressing will provide enough oil to cook them, if the pan is hot and you stir them!. this should only take a couple minutes!.

Just spray some non-stick product like Pam into your frying pan!. Season the chicken breast with lemon-pepper, Cajun Seasoning, Mrs!. Dash or whatever seasoning you like!. Then just cook it till tender!. Be very careful to not over cook the breast as it will get tough and chewy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grill it or bake it!. make sure it's skinless and trim whatever fat you can!. it's also okay to pan-fry if you have a non-stick pan and/or just use a small amount of cooking spray to prevent sticking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
