A very easy and delicious recipe for pasta with alfredo sauce:

1 bar of cream cheese

Cook pasta to desired tenderness by boiling according to directions on package!.

In the meantime, cut the cream cheese into cubes, add the butter (or margarine), parmesan and milk to a large skillet!. Cook over medium heat until smooth!.

You can add chicken or shrimp if you'd like to add some protein!. Shrimp is my favorite!. :)

Serve hot with garlic bread and maybe a caesar salad!.

Saute you shrimp in the sauce until pink!. Don't over cook them!.

Meanwhile have your pasta cooking (angel hair is my favorite)
When done, drain well and put it into a nice serving bowl!. Drizzle the juice of 1/2 fresh lemon over the pasta!. Add the shrimp and sauce, season with salt and white pepper or black if that's what you have and toss to coat everything!.

Now to pretty it up, sprinkle it with chopped parsely!. Have shredded parmesan on the side and a nice baguette sliced to soak up some of the sauce!.

Romantic might include both of you preparing something sensuous in the kitchen together!. Or, romantic might be you trying to make a great meal, given the fact that you don't cook! Either way, here is an idea you might enjoy making:

Chicken and Artichokes: 4 Chicken breasts, skinless, 1 can artichoke hearts, drained (reserve liquid) and coarsely chopped; 1 4oz package feta cheese, 1 T dijon mustard, 1 cup white wine, 3 T chopped parsley, 1 tsp thyme, 1 cup chicken broth!. Mix the artichoke hearts, parsley, feta and 1/2 tsp thyme together!. In each breast, make a pocket in the thickest part!. Season outside and inside with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper!. Divide chicken mixture into fourths and stuff 1/4 of the mixture into each pocket!. Secure with toothpicks!. Heat 3 T oil in saute pan and brown both sides of each breast!. Place in baking dish and add 1/2 cup white wine to pan!. Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees!. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes!. Remove from pan and place on serving dish!. To pan liquids, add remaining thyme, mustard, wine, chicken broth and artichoke liquid!. Bring to a boil and reduce heat!. Season to taste!. Simmer until liquid is reduced and thickened!. Spoon over breasts!. Serve with a packaged rice pilaf and fresh asparagas cooked crisp tender and seasoned with kosher salt, pepper, and melted butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

One thing that it depends on is what your fiance likes to eat!. If he's not too picky, then he'll probably enjoy anything you make for him!. Try something simple!. Spaghetti and sauce are easy!. Or you could try ravioli bake!. (It was the first meal I ever made for my husband when we were dating!.) Buy some fresh or frozen ravioli and cook according to package directions!. Drain the ravioli and mix with a tomato sauce!. Choose something flavorful for a special night!. Pour the ravioli and sauce into a 13x9 dish!. Sprinkle shredded mozarella on top and bake, covered, for about 20 minutes at 350 until it's heated through!. (The ravioli's already cooked, so it shouldn't take too long!.) Uncover and continue cooking until the cheese is melted!. (I like it a little browned, but that's me!.) Make a green salad and garlic bread to go with it!. What is his favorite dessert!? There are all kinds of great pies and desserts in the freezer section!. You could bake or thaw it ahead of time!.

I realize that there's not a lot of cooking involved in this menu, but you said you've never cooked before in your life, so I took you at your word!. :)

The most important thing is the setting!. Have candlelight, wine, quiet music, soft lighting!. Make sure you're both dressed up for a fancy dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

uhhhhh!.!.!.you've never cooked before wow!.!.!.trust me now is not the time to give it a try!. here is an idea though!.!.!.if you live in a safe enough place make some sandwiches grab a bottle of champagne (if you are 21 or older of course) wait until about 30 minutes before sundown and take him to a candelight picnic in the park!.!.!.of course strawberries and whip cream is a great dessert :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just a basic piece of advice: if you're planning on being intimate, don't plan a big, heavy meal!. Keep it light, fresh, and simple!. Heavy, rich foods zap your energy and make you feel sleepy and sluggish!. Light meals will satisfy your hunger, but won't weigh you down later!. (wink)

Happy 1st anniversary! Hope it's a good one!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any good cook will tell you not to cook something for the very first time for guests!. Use a recipe you have tried and conquered!.
You need to start easy, like soup and sandwiches, mac and cheese and meatloaf kinda stuff!.
Hope your date comes out great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can never go wrong with spaghetti!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can suggest you a website http://www!.spideronweb!.com/recipe/ here you will able to find lots of good recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Experiences!? Let's just say the two times I tried, I screwed up roast chicken and shish kebab, and one time almost got lucky with tacos!. So experience is not my best teacher!.

That said, I'm going to have to go meta on you because you didn't say anything about the two of you!. Rather than focus on specific recipes, I'd say go with something that a) you can cook together (assuming that can be your surprise) and b) says a little something about the two of you and your relationship!. It can be a special dish you shared at a restaurant, or something from your ancestries that you both like, or just a favorite meal that he's never had and you want to share with him!.

Overall, I'd say you can't really go wrong with something Italian (provided you both like garlic, of course) or provincial French (particularly from central France and Provence)!. Middle Eastern, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, and African-American are great choices too, if a little bit more rustic and less familiar, and Japanese is stupendously elaborate but probably the ultimate show-off cuisine!. Unless there's an ethnic reason to do so, stay away from something Eastern European like German or Russian (too heavy) or South American (too much meat, not enough of anything else), and stay far, far away from Middle American (too familiar if you eat that way every day, too leaden if you don't) or anything northern European that doesn't involve curry (too bland, too much herring and potatoes)!.

Just make sure to follow it all up with melted chocolate and berries (or berries and whipped cream if you can't do chocolate) and something like a Dutch baby pancake the next morning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
