Answers:
I personally experienced the same dilemma last month and mine were expired more than 3 weeks!. I only buy organic, free range eggs to begin with as they are way less likely to have any bacteria such as e-coli!. I figured that it was just a "suggested use by" or better yet !.!.!."sell by date" I don't see how anyone including those that packaged and stamped the date could possibly know when the exact moment of expiration occurs anyway!. I mean!.!.!. when do they actually cross the line!? LOL In my experience, they ended up being perfectly fine and yours should be fine also!. (as long as they were not exposed to room temperature)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i never pay attention to the expiration date on eggs!.!.!.when i buy them i take them out of the carton and put them in the egg holder thingy in the door of the fridge i never give the expiration date another thought!. if an egg is bad when you crack it open it smells up the whole kitchen!.!.!.if you are unsure of the eggs test them by cracking one open!.!.!.it it smells ok then the rest should be alright!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pay attention to the wording on the package, it makes a big difference!.!.!.!.!.

Best if used!.!.!.!.!.
means just that, it loses quality but isn't dangerous

Sell by!.!.!.!.
this is used on stuff like dairy to let the retailer know when to get it out their door, and usually means you have at least a week AFTER that date where it's still good for use

Expiration Date!.!.!.!.
Don't use it after this date!.

also, short of it being 'rotten', which you'll know pretty quick once you crack it!.!.!.!.!.so long as it's fully cooked through, you will be safe from stuff like Salmonella!. Just don't cook it in any way that leaves some portion uncooked (sunny side up, for example)!. This is really true of any egg, no matter how fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say yes ,if they refridged,!.!. anyway my momma always said get 2 cup measuring cup!. fill it up with water put a egg in it!.!.!.!.!.and watch if it still is on bottom it is good if it floats away {throw away}/ now that ya can see if they are good!.!.she also said since they are older they would be so much easier to peel them if you boilded them for deviledeggs, egg salad or what ever ya desire I hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are not totally sure about what answers that you are getting here, you can just as easily call your local supermarket and talk to someone in the deli!.!.I am sure, that they'd know!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some things, yes, eggs, no!. Possibility of salmonella would scare me off!. They are cheap, don't do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as they have been refrigerated at a proper temperature, then yes, no problem to eat them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

HEY, DONT LISTEN TO ANYBODY ELSE BUT ME!.

POUR A GLASS OF WATER
DROP THE EGG IN
IF IT FLOATS IT BAD, IF IT SINKS IT'S GOODWww@FoodAQ@Com
