Here's one of my favorite recipes, we make it at least twice a month or more:

Taco Bake

1 pound lean ground beef
1 (1!.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 to 6 oz of cream cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C)!.
In a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, and drain fat!. Mix in dry taco seasoning!.
Soften cream cheese in the microwave and then mix in with the beans
Spoon browned meat into a 9x13 inch glass baking dish!. Spoon a layer of refried beans over meat, then salsa!. Top with shredded cheese!.
Bake about 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BEEF-MACARONI CASSEROLE


1 lb!. uncooked macaroni
1 lb!. lean ground beef
3/4 c!. chopped onion
1/4 c!. chopped green pepper
2 celery stalks, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 (6 oz!.) cans tomato paste
1 (16 oz!.) can diced tomatoes
1 c!. water
1/4 tsp!. salt
2 tsp!. sugar
1/8 tsp!. thyme
1 tsp!. basil
1/2 tsp!. oregano
1/4 tsp!. pepper
2 cups low fat cottage cheese



Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt!. Drain and set aside!. Place the beef, raw vegetables and garlic in large skillet!. Cook until meat browns and vegetables are tender!. Pour off fat!. Add remaining ingredients except for cottage cheese!. Cover and simmer gently for 5 minutes!.

Once the macaroni is cooked and the meat sauce is complete, mix it all together and bake, 350 for 20 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make steak burgers/ beef pattys with a gravy!. With potatos not mashed all the way add some milk and butter!. cook the patties put them in the gravy with some onions!.If you do not have potatos you can make rice with it!.
also, you can grab like 3 cans of your fav beans!. My fav is kidney,chickpee and black eye peas!. Strain all, rinse the kidney beans good, toss all in a pot add butter if you like, salt pepper!. Dinner is served! hope you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok I know this is going to sound kinda redneck but the other night I was pinched for time and actually out of dinner ideas because my brain was so fried!. You can make hamburgers, tacos, sloppy Joes, a small meatloaf or add it to a box of mac and cheese or Au Gratin/Scalloped potatoes and make your own version of Hamburger Helper!. You could also make Hamburger Stew or Hamburger Stroganoff and serve with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles!.

spaghetti!. brown the ground meat, get you some spaghetti sauce and and add a cut up onion, Italian seasoning, house seasoning(whatever you normally use like Season All etc!.) garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, 2 bay leaves, thyme leaves, sugar, and pepper!. it will be so good!. Tacos! Just dice some lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese, saute the hamburger in the taco tauce, get a box or two of taco shells, warm them so they get soft, and put everything out buffet style!.

Deep Dish Taco Squares

2 cups biscuit mix
? cup cold water
1( 8-oz )carton sour cream
1/3 cup prepared Ranch salad dressing
1? pounds ground beef
? cup green and/or red bell pepper – finely chopped**
2 Tbsp!. chopped onion**
1 pkg taco seasoning mix (? cup)
1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
? cup mild salsa
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Combine biscuit mix and water, stirring with a fork until blended!. Press mixture in bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2” baking dish!. Bake at 375oF for 9 minutes!.
Combine sour cream and Ranch dressing!. Spread over baked crust and set aside!.
Cook ground beef, green bell pepper, and onion in a large skillet until meat is browned and crumbled; drain well!. Stir in tomato sauce, salsa or picante sauce, and taco seasoning mix, spoon over Ranch filling!.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over meat mixture!. Bake at 375oF, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until casserole is lightly browned!. Cut into 12 squares to serve!.

** If serving to picky children, you can omit the bellpepper and use 2 tsp!. onion powder instead of fresh onions!. Omit salsa and add a second can of plain tomato sauce!.

Beef Enchilada Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can chopped chiles
Corn tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef; drain off grease!. Add onion and cook until tender!. Add soups and chiles, heating thoroughly!. Place one layer of corn tortillas in the bottom of a greased 9x13” casserole!. Spoon a third of beef mixture on top!. Place another layer of tortillas, spoon another third of beef mixture on top; top with last layer of tortillas and rest of meat mixture!.

Cover with grated cheddar cheese on top!. Bake at 350oF until cheese melts and casserole is bubbly, about 20 min!. Let stand 5 min!. then cut into wedges and serve!.

CHEESEBURGER PIE
Makes: 6 servings

1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (4 oz) shredded light cheddar cheese
1/2 cup reduced-fat baking mix
1 cup 1 percent milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Heat oven to 400oF!. Coat a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray!. Heat a large nonstick skillet on medium!. Cook beef and onion 6 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and onion is softened; drain!. Stir in salt!. Spread mixture in pie plate; sprinkle with cheese!. In a medium bowl, with a fork, stir baking mix, milk and eggs together until blended!. Pour into pie plate!. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean!. Cut into wedges and serve!.

Per serving: 270 calories, 25g protein, 14g fat, 5!.6g sat fat, 12g carbs, 126 mg cholesterol, 524 mg sodium, 1 g fiber!.

Puffy tacos stuffed with ground beef

2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 onion chopped
3 cloves of garlic minced
3 jalapeno peppers chopped
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 tablespoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of Mexican oregano
2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon of powdered cayenne pepper
1/2 cup of your favorite salsa
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup of oil
1 tablespoon of lime juice

Heat oil in skillet on medium heat!.
Throw in onions and peppers, and cook for about 10 minutes!.
Add garlic, and cook for 2 minutes!.
Add all the other ingredients except the lime juice, stirring occasionally until meat is brown!.
Cover skillet, turn heat down to low, and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally!.
Stir in lime juice!.

Puffy taco shells
Ingredients:
2 cups of masa harina
1 1/4 cups of water
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 quart of peanut or canola oil

Mix masa harina, water and salt together until it forms into a soft ball!. If it’s too dry, add a bit more water a tablespoon at a time!.
Divide dough into 16 equal balls, and press out with a tortilla press or roll out with a rolling pin!.
Keep pressed discs covered with a damp cloth!.
Heat up two inches of oil in a pot or skillet to 350 degrees!.
Gently place a disc in the hot oil and it should immediately start to puff!. After five seconds, with a spatula, make an indention in the center so it forms a V shape!.
Gently cook the shell on each side until light brown and crispy (about 20 seconds for each side)!.
Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel!.
Stuff with spicy ground beef, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar and salsa and serve immediately!.

Makes 16 tacos!.

1? cups mafalda (mini-lasagna noodles or other pasta)
1? cups water

8 oz!. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/3 cup or more shredded mozzarella cheese

Cook lean ground beef, chopped onion and chopped carrots in a Dutch oven on medium-high about 6 minutes or until beef is no longer pink!. Drain!. Stir in raw pasta, water, Italian seasoning, pasta sauce mushrooms!. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally!. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until pasta is tender!.
